The workshop will be led by Latino Urbanist James Rojas and will consist of a hands-on model-building workshop where you will be able to design and build your dream neighborhood in Pico Union. No need to bring materials, just your hands and creativity. The workshop will also have a guest graphic recorder named Cote Soerens. The neighborhood heart connects us all. By seeing the neighborhood as a whole we begin to see all the amazing connections. These connections are the links between grassroots leadership which collectively expands a neighborhood solidarity network. It is through this network that we can achieve a burgeoning grassroots economy moving us towards the outcomes of prosperity. This can only happen through collective action which is why we need you. Come learn about the neighborhood where you live. Please join us and share your reflections, build your memories, dreams and visions for The Pico Union Neighborhood with us. All are welcome.
