Join us for a powerful conversation exploring how women practitioners are reimagining the built environment to center care, safety, expression, and participation. From plazas to parks, from planning to programming, this session highlights the placemakers challenging the gendered assumptions baked into our public spaces.
We’re honored to feature Daniela Chacón Arias, Loeb Fellow at Harvard and visiting scholar at MIT, and the former Vice Mayor of Quito, Ecuador. She will share stories from her work making placemaking central to community-building in Ecuador through strong partnerships between government and local interest groups—highlighting how inclusive design becomes a foundation for social cohesion and civic trust. |
