PlacemakingUS Exchange -  Interest Form

PlacemakingUS is a national network that brings together placemakers from across the country to connect, share their expertise, and empower communities to build vibrant, connected places. Through our PlacemakingUS Exchange program, we facilitate visits from two to five experienced placemakers with relevant experience and expertise in the issues and opportunities facing local host communities: from creative placemaking to tactical urbanism, local food places, to neighborhood, workforce and economic development and more.

We are seeking proposals from communities interested in hosting a PlacemakingUS Exchange:

The PlacemakingUS Exchange is a great opportunity for communities to learn from other communities and to share their own experiences. The program can help communities build relationships with other placemakers and with community leaders. The program can help communities develop a plan for improving their community's public spaces. The program can help communities create more inclusive and world-aware placemaking plans that are fundable and actionable.
Here cities and communities want to host a PlacemakingUS Exchange:

  • To learn from other communities and to share their own experiences.
  • To build relationships with other placemakers and with community leaders.
  • To develop a plan for improving their community's public spaces.
  • To secure funding for their placemaking projects.
