Placemaking Train
April/May
All Aboard! PlacemakingUS and PlacemakingX are excited to announce our "Placemaking Train" placemaking train trip. Using Amtrak, we will ride the rails looping from New York City down through Atlanta and Birmingham to New Orleans and up through Chicago to circle back to the Big Apple from April 17th to the beginning of May.
The purpose of this trip is to visit with communities that are off the beaten path and are looking to increase their town's community cohesion, economic viability, creative output, equity, sustainability, and vivacity using placemaking.
